Best place for Warranty Work

I've developed a disappointingly long list of needed warranty repairs to my A/S. I need some honest feedback on where to get this work done. Im not impressed with my dealer. My trailer is currently in Palm Springs ...San Diego is also a possibility and I can stay with family while Im waiting for repairs to be completed...and I will eventually end up in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. Any thoughts on the best place to have my work done?

San Diego has a brand new dealer, as of a couple of weeks ago. Holland Motorhomes. They probably would have to order what ever parts might be needed.

Roger Williams is very good in Weatherford, Texas, just outside of Fort Worth.

And

Andy also has a loooong list of satisfied customers and has been a great information source here on the forums. I'm just as sure if you call him that he stands ready to impart his wisdom on your warranty needs and would be more than willing to help you or have his dealerdhip do what ever you need done. He has been in the Airstream business a long time and may very well stock all the parts to get you on the road again quicker than most dealers could. Just my opinion from what I've read and purchased from him in the past. Ed

Like you, I had a fairly dissapointing long list as well. I had a few choices. First, drive 350 miles to a dealer that was by most accounts well qualified or drive 350 miles to the place that built it, Airstream in Jackson Center, OH.

I opted to go to Jackson Center. It was a great trip, nice folks, work done was excellent. Roger Williams in Texas is also well known and respected. I've seen a number of custom work done on Airstreams by that dealership and you'd have been hard pressed to know it didn't come that way from the factory the work quality was that good. Andy from Inland is great, but he is a Star Trek from your location. You'd spend 3x the amount in gas compared to going to Texas or Ohio.

Talk to Robert at Roger Williams in Weatherford TX. I have had some repairs performed there and was very pleased with the quality.

If you want to have the work done in the Dallas area, I recommend that you call Randy at North Dallas RV (972.242.0404). Jackson Center recommended them to me. They completed all my warranty issues and I plan to continue using them when I need service. They are a service-only facility located north of Dallas on I35E (in Carrollton). The facility is not much to look at but I am a satisfied customer and highly recommend them. (I am not affiliated with N Dallas RV nor do I get anything from a referral.)

HOWEVER, since you are in California, I recommend that you tow your trailer to Andy at Inland. I base this not on personal experience but solely from reading this forum for the last couple of years. According to Google maps, Inland is only 70 miles from you. I would call him if I were you.
