Batteries overheat

I am new to Rving and just bought 2015 International signature 28 ft. I heard by rumour that there have been RVs wit h batteries overheating. Is this a true possibility with RVs in general and Airstream in particular. Thanks

I don't know if your model has the single stage inverter or not. If it does it can boil the water out of your batteries. If you do have the single stage, you should consider upgrading to a multi-stage which will drop down to a trickle charge when your batteries reach their designed charge level.

It is common when batteries are left on charge for a prolonged period of time using a single stage charger.
