Back to Life?

Sure, why not?

It kind of looks like they got any potential subfloor issues resolved, based upon the photo of work done inside. Still be a lot of money and time, but if it's cheap to begin with, it seems like you'd have some wiggle room there.

Hmm, $1000 in windows. 1600 in compound curve segments. Couple thou in appliances. New axle, of course. Floor might be shot in the back, the access panels are gone and what happened to the door??? Actually the door might be the deal breaker. It's probably the only thing you'd need that's near impossible to get.

BUT - it looks straight, relatively dent free, where the panels exist, and you still have a lot of the interior bulkheads. AND, the bathtub is intact, but you'd need to find the sink. At least the stuff that's there is in decent shape. Lemme guess, 66 Safari Gaucho model. You don't see a lot of them. They have that extra closet and that's cool.

If you're good a horse trading, and are lucky when it comes to finding hard to find parts, yeah, for about $250 to $400, I'd think it's worth it. You'd have a coach worth about $6500 when you were done, or at least a project that you could call your own.

Good guess, the ad says 66 20 footer. Its 500. But for me 500 thats 400 more than I'd pay. Let me know if anyone is interested I will pm you with the info.

It's a Safari, the 66 Globetrotter would have different bath. If I knew my wife wouldn't kill me a buy it to complement my 66 Safari dinette!

From Maryland

I know that this came from Maryland, and the door is missing, and the rear frame is rusted away - and can be fixed. A door can be found! It should be a free one. No more than $100. Most of this one was gutted and sold on Ebay a few months ago by Ebay username wervintage I believe. It at one time had a shelter connected to it, and sold on Ebay for $1800 if I recall.

Good luck.
