I need to replace the backup camera in my truck, only used for connecting to hitch. Looking at the Hopkins Smart Hitch. Does it really work? Questioning the placement of the camera on the license plate. Is that actually high enough to give you an accurate picture of ball and hitch alignment?

I've had my Hopkins Smart Hitch for about 3 years know, it works great! Have no problems seeing ball and hitch alignment. Great little backup camera for the price too!

Wouldn't that kind of depend on where your license plate is relative to the hitch? Not all vehicles have their license plates in the same place.
