ATL area-- looking for help!

I am looking for someone to do some work on our 1965 Safari. I would like someone to replace the vents and air conditioner, check plumbing/replace tanks/water heater, and check electricals, etc.

I am brand new to the Airstream world and while I'm somewhat handy, I am out of my league. I want to get the basics right... I don't have a large trust fund to finance this endeavor, and I want to spend the money that I have allocated for this project wisely. Also, I'd like to be on the road with my Safari in tow before this decade expires. (I tend to work slowly! LOL)

Can you recommend someone?

You might want to try Rob Ditchen. He and his wife Katie go by skatiero on this forum and you could send him a pm.

Good RV repairs

Best I've found for general rv repair is Town & Country, in the Athens Ga/Winterville GA area. Bit hard to find though:

Sunnyside RV and Truck sales and repair can fix or replace just about anything.
They are located on Hwy 19/41 in Hampton GA. Near the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Tell Harry (owner) that Marie sent you.

If you need interior finish work done... I have an amazing finish carpenter who helps me restore airstreams.

I would take it to Jackson Center. Have them do it during the winter when they are not so busy and they may give you a good deal. They really do good work.
