AS Service Centers

Was wondering about everyones experiences at the service centers in Texas and Oklahoma and maybe even Colorado. I am reluctant to use Camper Clinic II in Buda, TX, there ratings are awful. Actually most of the ratings for the AS Service centers in Texas suck. I found Leisure Time RV in Oklahoma, and their ratings are very good, but my gut says they are all fake reviews (everyone's user name is their first name and last initial, and those that are not that username format gave bad reviews)

I was looking for someone to add a second AC unit but I want it done right. I also don't have an issue using someone that is not at a dealership, but one I found in TX doesn't do that kind of work and the other is swamped and I need it done before mid May.

So any reviews for service in Texas, OK, Arkansas, CO, Louisiana would be helpful. I thought about going to the mother ship, but it's 1300 miles one way.

Have you looked into Bayer RV in Dublin, TX just southwest of Fort Worth?

I remember several members reporting a good experience.

Road trip time. I would take my Airstream to Jackson Center for any major work.

I wish I could, but 1300 miles away is not in the cards for me at this time.

I've looked into them, but could find no reviews at all. Hopefully someone can chime in about their experience with them.

I have heard Griffith RV Service is great but it can be weeks before you can get in.

Search Top here on Forums. He is near Killeen Tx Independent small shop but people have made good reports here. Also North Dallas RV. They are Airstream certified but I hear the wait time can be lengthy there, or at least their yard is ALWAYS full of Airstreams.

I purchased my '14 AS from the Denver dealer. Now that it is out of warranty I won't plan to use them and will look elsewhere. The work was good but it just wasn't worth it. The few times I went there, I consistently walked away thinking, "Why can't this be as efficient as my automotive service experiences?".

Update - Griffith RV Service Center OKC

Longtime lurker, first time poster. Wanted to give an update on GRVS in OKC.

Website is still up, but phone number is no longer in service. Drove by this morning because I need a repair to my Avion (Don't hate!) that I really wanted him to do.

Gate was locked, no RVs on-site and several pickups appeared to be loading/moving stuff. Didn't look like it was going to reopen anytime soon.

So, does anyone have any other recommendations for Airstream/Avion/etc. bodywork in or near OKC?

Thanks,

Rick

I've had positive experience with Airstream Service at Camper Clinic II. Reviews can sometimes be misleading but not suggesting you ignore it. Try them out. They've been flexible and helpfu every time I have interacted with them.

Just wanted to update. I did use Camper Clinic II in Buda, and they did an amazing job. The cost was a little more than the mothership, but not enough to warrant me driving to OH. I'll put it to the test this summer while living in Wyoming all summer.

Glad to hear that! My rig is there now for state inspection, warranty forever inspection, fix squeaky floor, and a wash/wax.

I've used Texas RV Supply on Austin Hwy in the past (but it's been a while). They've been there forever and must have a decent reputation.
