AS Jackson Center Service

I wanted to set up an appointment for service at the Jackson Center and filled out the AS on-line form. Waited for a week but heard nothing from them. Two days ago I called their service department and was transferred to their voice mail. Still heard nothing. How long does it take them to respond? Have they closed their service department?

No, it's still there. Call them, use the prompt for company directory and punch in Burch or March. Probably still will need to leave a message, but they called me back within 24 hours. They are always busy. My appointment is 3 weeks out.

Edit: March not Mast

I sent an e-mail and got a response pretty quickly. This was a couple of years ago and at that time, at least, e-mail addresses were on the website, though not all that easy to find. They were very helpful in answering questions.

I emailed Chris last Spring and everything was set up quickly and professionally. They were ready for us when we arrived.

My first appointment

I have a "new" AS and went for my first appointment early last week. I scheduled the appointment on line without a hitch, and enjoyed my first overnight at the free on-location campground . . . ready for service at 7:00 a.m. If you can't get through to Chris, ask for Amy in customer service, and she'll hook you up! Well, I showed up unannounced one Monday morning at 7am when we had suffered some trailer damage in snow on the way south.

We met Chris who arrived early for work, and our trailer was in the service centre being repaired by 8am!

Wasn't happy about the damage to the trailer - my own stupid fault - but very happy about the response from Chris and others at JC and the quality of the work done on our trailer.

Is it true that JC will shine a trailer up for you in the "off season" for a reasonable price?
I have read about the evils of drinking beer so I quit reading.

I dropped my trailer off yesterday for service. I set the appointment online and will pick it up sometime next week. Round trip mileage was 1200 for 31 hours of travel home to AS back to home.

The Service Center giving appointments will seem like a loose process; ie, they just give you a date, ask what you need, hardly take any personal/trailer info. Almost like they're simply writing it in a paper appt book & trusting you to show up? Nice and old fashioned that way.

Just camp at the Terraport the night before and wander over to the Service Center at 7:00AM to check in. They'll take it from there - very well & professionally I might add.

Plan to leave your fridge closed all day. They have to turn off the gas when pulled inside the service bays. And they'll pull it back out to the Terraport for you by 4:30-5:00.

My first night there I camped in one of the Terraport loops furthest from Pike Street -- nice view of sunset over the mothership. Mistake at 4:00AM! Semis are delivering the day's supplies to the plant, backing up and beep-beep-beeping. Contractors who drive trailers out to dealers arrive all times of day & night. There's just a lot of hubbub too early. After they finished my day's work I had them put the Safari into the loop closest to Pike Street. Slept much better!

Things to do during the day: Don't miss the factory tour. Neil Armstrong museum in Wapokoneta. Air Force museum at WPAFB by Fairborn.

I remember being concerned about the fridge, but they can plug in the trailer so the fridge stays cold. That is assuming you don't have the electrical system worked on.
