AS dealer going out of business- NJ

My wife told me that she saw "Closing Sale" signs outside of South Jersey RV yesterday...I have no connection to this shop and have only been there once after hours. Looks like all parts are 25% off...until Thursday (last day). Too bad we are not going to the shore until Friday! We'll miss it by one day.

I don't know if this helps anyone-

1624 Harding Hwy

Are you speaking about Franklin RV? They used to be an Airstream dealer many years ago and may still have parts.

Franklin is where my trailer is from, have the name tag on the side of my trailer. I'm going to be down there and will vheck it out. Maybe they have service records on my trailer. MPJ

I hear they defaulted on their loans. Floorplan interest rates finally overtook their ability to pay the interest on unsold units. Not unusual these days.

South Jersey RV was a repair shop not dealer. It closed due to retirement not default. Default does sound much juicier though. After many years in business the owner decided it time to take it easy.

Ron was a great help to us since we purchased Pearl last December. We will miss him.

Last week, a small motor repair shop closed their doors as the owner wanted to retire and their were no buyers for the business. Seeing more and more forced retirements due to the economic environment.

With all due respect to CrawfordGene, we need more tradesmen than attorneys
