Does anyone know what these are for? They were in my trailer when I bought it and if they go to it, where and for what purpose??? There are two of them.

Do you have a pole awning? It is a stand for a pole of some sort. You could hang a lantern off a pole or an awning. Do you have leveling jacks on your trailer now?

That's what I thought but my awning is a carefree unit that pulls out. The trailer doesn't have any leveling jacks.

I expect it was used as a base for some sort of leveling jack but I am just guessing.

It's the base of a Festivus pole!

Argosy 20 Part???

I am not certain how the device may have been used with a travel trailer, but we had a set of 4 of the bases pictured that we utilized with "pole" stabilizers that attached to the side of our 1969 SunWay pickup camper at each corner. These were lighter than the jacks utilized to remove the camper from the truck, and were designed to limit the side to side movement of the camper when setup in camp.

If I still had my bases, I would be using them as flag stands when attending a rally. An anchoring device would likely be necessary, but the bases that we had with the SunWay were the size of the flagpoles that I carry for rallys.
