Anyone have experience with one of these fan/light combos?

I just ran across this on ebay. I was thinking about replacing the existing vent/light combo which has the troublesome rotary switch. Also, the shade/ cover for the '79 is hard to find and expensive.

That lens is far cheaper then many things on your Airstream.

They sell for less than $ 40.00.

Check the price on torsion axles, that only last about 25 years, if you want to see higher numbers.

Lenses are always reasonable.

Unfortunately, I am all too familiar with the price of torsion axles.

I can't really say that these original lenses scream quality. Like many of the 70's plastics in my Airstream, there are thin areas that promote premature cracking and the like. I had too remold with fiberglass all of the plastics in the bathroom. Nothing lasts forever, but I'd prefer not too replace the old crap with new crap.
