Anticipating axles!

Got axles removed yesterday , wire wheeled & painted frame in wheel well area . I also did more polishing today... Taking advantage of the hangar space! Hopefully new axles will be here this week!

After going back and forth on wether to drop the belly pan to remove old insulation& nasty decayed vermin, I think now is the time to do it! Not looking forward to drilling out hundreds of rivets& god knows what else I'll run into! I have 4 weeks to do axles, belly pan, & finalize polishing before my first music festival !

You can do it and as for what lays in the belly pan, we are waiting with baited iPads so drill them and drop it then yes take lots of pictures! We have been there and the nastiness is always good to remove! Luck to you.

I have the 2 inch foam with the 1inch for the air gap. Just need the weather! Will keep watching your progress.

Productive weekend... Drilled center rivets in belly pan& looked inside, everything was so clean no falling insulation & paint was very good on frame! Amazingly good condition so I'm going to leave it alone! Ran new brake wire& new 7 way harness to clean up some halfass wiring done at some point. Finally got to run my electric jack wire inside the pan. Still no axles yet!

Awesome glad to hear that all looked good under the belly pan! I waited awhile on my axles too!
