Another reno/remodel thread wanted yes or no
Hi folks
Curious. I am closing in on finishing a 3 year reno/remodel of a 1973 Tradewind and I am curious if people are still interested in the process. The reason I ask is I don't see too many extensive reno/remodel threads these day.
Anyway if a few of you think it could be helpful I would be glad to make the effort.

I think they are the most interesting threads here, but many (myself included) do not take the time to document and post the details of their projects.

I vote yes! These are often the most interesting threads and are very informative.

Well thanks for the interest. I do have lots of pics and will be glad to share them. I have posted some of them in haphazard posts in the past. I will gather my thoughts about my experience "upgrading" my Tradewind and combine with photos and hope it helps people

Like those before me, YES! There is no other more pertinent subject on the forum in my eyes as the owner of an aging aluminum tube.
At some point or another, we all are faced with choosing between a DIY or 'professional' repair/upgrade/remodel/rescue (take your pick). I believe seeing and reading what can be accomplished and what it takes to finish is of interest to a majority faced with "whom should do it?" Knowing another DIYer was successful is a terrific boost to the wary enthusiast in search of 'what to expect' and 'how to conquer the impediments' along with a summary of time and tools involved.

newbie!!!
JUST got my first-a 1975 Argosy 26' motorhome. The seller drove it down to Key West yesterday. It has 'good bones' and has already been gutted. Previous owner had started a renovation but I think we're going to start over from scratch.
Been searching for good design ideas. Anyone know of a particularly good site that's specific for this model, or am I dreaming?

Tony--
I have admired your work and am sure that many of us would like to see how you negotiated the inevitable problems and the culmination of your efforts.

Thanks for your interest. I did start a new thread so we can run through running through the 1973 Trade wind Reno-Rehab
First picture pretty boring but that is where it started

Most definitely! Always easier to use someone else's ideas after they've worked out all the bugs... Also, with more contributors coming from all walks of life the breadth of knowledge just keeps getting bigger and bigger. So far I've used ideas from the Aerospace industry, Marine industry and even from the model aircraft hobby. Let's keep the pics and ideas coming!!

I like the renovation / remodel threads the best. I also like everything on the same thread because it's easier to find ideas that I would like to copy vs each system put on a separate thread.
