Airstream stabilizer jacks on 1969 Globetrotter.

We just picked up a 1969 21' Globetrotter. Our intent to is to gut and refinish. Demo starts this weekend.

I previously had a 2008 16' CCD, which had a stablizer jack on each corner. This 1969 has nothing, and appears to just rely on the two wheels and front jack post. Seems kinda shaky.

Anyone update to stablizer jacks? Is there a portable solution?

With a shorty like that you might get away with just 2 stabilizers. My Argosy came with those cursed "portable" aluminum screw-jack things for each corner, and I found them annoying and inconvenient.

I installed BAL crank-down stabilizers. There's a particular part number that works right for Airstreams, because they have to be installed somewhat inboard and have a long shaft so they're easy to access and operate.

Most places that carry Airstream parts will have (or can get) the right ones. As it happens, I purchased mine from Out of Doors Mart, they had a price break for a set of four.
