Airstream Screw Covers (window)?

I've lost one of the black plastic screw covers that cover the screws holding the window hardware on my AS. Has anyone found local sources for the type of covers that Airstream uses?

Many thanks, Bob

I found them at Lowe's. At least at our store, on the aisle with the screws, bolts, nuts, etc, there are drawers with odd specialty items like that. The screw covers they sold me are one piece, with the base and the cap connected by a little bit of plastic. Easy enough to cut off the cap so that you do not have to disassemble the window latch mechanism.

I cannot remember which size worked, but they are cheap enough that I bought a couple of different sizes to make sure that I had the correct one when I got back. I might have some left overs, so let me know if you need me to dig through my spare parts bin to get you more info.

I was recently rattling around the west and various bits and pieces fell off, screw covers being one of them. I usually save the various bits and pieces in a jar and then when I find out later by accident where they belong, I do the repair. These ones were damaged and would not go back on. I found the screw covers at Home Depot. They were seven cents each so I splurged and bought three. Jim

I lost one of the black caps off the large window on our 2010, 20' FC. I called the Hehr glass plant in Indiana and they sent me out a half dozen so I would have some spares.
Nice people, love the Herh windows!

I don't have their number but you can Google Herh windows and get it.
