Airstream Remodel

Does anyone know or can point me in the right direction to someone that remodels airstreams? I bought one and it was a lot more work than intended - I need some help. I live in the Four Corners region and would be most appreciative if I could be guided to someone to help me. Thanks!

Goodness! Remodeling an Airstream can take a lot of someone else's time, and therefore a whole lot of your money. If you just send the whole thing out to be "remodeled," the shop will subcontract a bunch of stuff. Then they'll mark it up by 50% and give you the bill.

My suggestion would be to start with a prioritized list, then figure out the cheapest way to do each individual item.

Running gear and safety items would be first. If yours has the rear end separation issue, you might want to do that next...

Just my opinion, of course. YMMV.

There is a guy in Golden, CO, who I think was interviewed on The Vintage Airstream Podcast a while back. Seemed like a reasonable guy in the interview, but can't give any higher recommendation than that. I believe his website is below:

As recommended above, any professional rennovation place is going to blow your mind ($$$) if you bring in your trailer and say "make it like new with a custom interior." Decide what items you are unable/unwilling to do, and get a quote for those things.

Good luck!
