Airstream owners Welcome kit

I am so excited. We got the title for our '92 excella'29 in September, joined the air forum in early October (still no sticker), picked up the trailer the end of October, but it was not until now that I truly knew I was an Airstream Owner. I have received my full membership welcome kit in the mail. I understand it is like joining one of those gadget of month clubs where there will be future "gifts" sent to my house with only small shipping and handling charges added to my growing credit card. As you can see the basics are all here. I wish I knew what the next shipment was going to be..... It is so exciting it is almost like Christmas.

Thanks to all who have shared their pictures and knowledge on how to begin the process of restoration. HiHoAgRv keeps telling us to make list of the small task we can accomplish in the dark of the winter as well as the big projects that require a whole day to complete. Now if I could only find someone who would tell me what drill bit size to use for the Olympic rivets I got. Just kidding. I know #20, #21, #22, What ever it takes.

Fortunately I tend to have a good sense of humor about most things. How else can you look at a trailer that has no usable floor and think it is the most wonderful thing you have ever owned.

So, are you going to install a floor, or install several trapeze swings in the ceiling?

Hey, you're going to have a GREAT time fixing her up. Hope we get to visit when we pass through Asheville after the first of the year. (It took a while for my stickers to arrive, but one is on the back window of The Otter, and the other on the back window of the truck.)

overlander63 I tried to convince my wife that hammocks would be the way to go but I like the idea of a trapeze as well.
I have to get working on it in earnest soon. I think we are going to try to make the GA-Stone Mountain Park Rally,April 27-29, 2012.
The 27th is our anniversary and my wife was born in the Stone Mountain area.

Greg, let us know when you are coming this way and we will try to catch up. Would love to see your upgrades.
