Airstream logos and Pantone colours

I have been chatting with airstream in Jasksonville about the colours for repainting my badgework and redoing my decals on my trailer collection and thought I would share some info I received with you.

The pantone colours have changed over the years, I am not sure at what year the switch was made though.

What I have been told is that for the Modern trailers the pantone # is 300C
and for vintage trailers the pantone colour is Reflex Blue





I have seen people recommend Ford blue which is pantone 294 and it in my opinion is not close enough to the vintage Reflex blue. It is a very muddy colour in comparison. Sorry for the glare from my ceiling lights on the ford blue pantone swatch.
