Air registers popping out
Need solution to registers popping out in transit. Love my “new” 2016 Int’l Sig 25’, but this is very discouraging.
Thanks for any tips!

No help here, but I’ve read that’s a thing. I was a bit disappointed that my 2015 25ft had a different style (non rotating), but now I’m not. Search around, there are discussions on this. Congrats on the new AS.

Try some Joe’s Sticky Stuff available on the amazon. It’s a clear butyl that sticks really well but can be removed and won’t leave a residue.

The official fix for that issue for service tech at the dealer is to carefully flex the plastic tabs that hold them up back out with a screwdriver or similar tool. Ive done it once and they haven't popped out again in a year of travel.

I used three zip ties as a loop on the round plastic part overlapping into the hole, worked pretty good until I went to JC to replace with a new design that has a rounded hole that secures with a screw.

Simple fix. Get some clear caulk and put it around the edges. Push them up. Fixed. I had the same problem. No problem any longer.
Basically the same as the answer above.

Thanks, everyone, but unfortunately one of my PROJECTILE vent covers suffered broken plastic tabs. If I am forced to rivet these into place, what rivets (and technique) do I use? Or is this not an option?

This solved the problem in my 2018... there are pictures in the original post where another member posted their solution. Easy and cheap once you get the idea.

Here's what I did.
First, notice the hole has a couple of "burrs" on the hole. I guess a result of the cutting.
Then, notice the grey plastic tabs intended to secure the vent.
Align two of the tabs with the burrs in the overhead and push VERY firmly. Not pound, just push up. I hear a click when mine engage.
So far, none of the ones I've done this to
have fallen twice.
