Advice in Austin, Tx

My wife and I just bought a 29' 1970 Ambassador. We will be fixing it up over the next couple months and then living in it full time! We are super excited. I remodel homes, so I have a good idea how to go about most of the repairs, but I am hoping to find someone near by who really knows what they are looking at. I am looking for someone to simply help me asses the job and assure me that I am going about it the right way. If you guys know of anyone near Austin that might be willing to help out or that works on Airstreams professionally let me know.

Hi, welcome to the Forums, and congratulations on your new trailer!

Eric Stoltz and the guys at Camper Clinic in Buda are the only professionals around town with Airstream experience, as far as I know.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask them here on the Forums, or search through the Forum archives as well-- there is a wealth of knowledge stored here, and most likely any question you could ask has already been answered in great detail.

Also please feel free to PM me if you have any other questions, I have a 63 and am no expert on the 70s models, but there are many things that are common among all of them.

Good luck with your rehab!
