Adhesive for a patching job ?

I need to put a small plate 4 in x 7 in for a patch job on the exterior wall of my overlander my question is what kind of adhesive or caulk do I use before I sandwich it together ? What are my options ?

I've used all of these with good results....

The 3m is the strongest bond...I'd go with this if a riveted patch.

The 721 is what I used for the skylight replacement.

The Loctite for the black tank vent.

Parbond for for rear bumper & molding sealing.
