Talking Adhesive

What adhesive is recommended to reattach the rubber/vinyl bumper on the guard rail along the bottom of the trailer. I had it off for some caulking maintenance.

I've used both the 3m adhesive and double sided 3m tape. All from automotive parts stores. All worked well to hold trim in place. IMO the tape is best, because the bond is instant. Adhesive needs time to cure, so molding has to be held in place while that happens.

I used adhesive used designed to install emblems and trim.
I've also used auto windshield adhesive.
I used double sided tape made for attaching automotive molding and trim.
