Looks like a nice project, but I was a bit unsettled by the fact that he claims he's only 1/2 owner and has no docs to prove any ownership......

Wonder if he had a falling out with the person who still thinks they own the other half.

Not an expert on vintage, but I'd have to say it looks to me like a later 60s, say '66 to '69? Maybe an Overlander, maybe an International....I'm kind of leaning toward International, but like I said, I'm no expert.

According to the markings on the side, it's a #3 Shack

It appears to be a 1968 trailer with the fridge on the street side it would have to be a 1966 or 1968. The International trim points me to 1968 as the 66 would have a single line not a double. I want to say that it is an Ambassador, but could be a Sovergien.

If I was to use the windows as a reference, I'd say center twins, rear bath. And I'd guess it was 27'.

The double windows at the front point to 28 or 30 foot. All the longer trailers of that year group are rear bath. This one will have an Aqua colored bath at that. Bed configuration is mearly a guess with out seeing the other side. From what I have learned the twin bed config would have a 39" window on the curb side. Double bed would have a 29" bed on the curb side.

Look for many of the same things you would in your '71 and add Corning windows to the list...also, the interior cabinetry is going to be more wood and less plastic laminate the older you get.

Good luck ~

Well, even if the guy only owned half, you could still buy his half. Just bring the saws-all, and decide if you want the front or back half... or just one whole side.

winders

so the fact that the add says plexi glass is used for some of the windows should tell me that i will have a few bucks to spend on new/old windows
