As has been reported numerous times on this forum, I have a 2016 25RB that has the refrigerator cooling fan that exhausts through the louvered door on the left side of the trailer. As has been reported, this fan is quite noisy and it runs almost constantly. Some have replaced it with computer fans and others just disconnected it. The original configuration has the fan just pulling air from the compartment and exhausting it to the outside.
I designed a mod that uses rubberized aircraft baffle material straps to suspend the fan, eliminating the vibration/noise transmission to the trailer frame. I also oriented the fan to blow directly on the refrigerator condenser to maximize cooling. This also increased the efficiency of the refrigerator.
I glued a wood block to the back of the refrigerator to accept the mounting screws and utilized the original screw holes for the upper mounting points.
The noise reduction in substantial. One can hardly hear the fan running now inside the trailer. See photos below
Interesting, the proof of concept will be in actual cooling performance. Let us know how that works out.

Do you know what a learning experience is? A learning experience is one of those things that says "You know that thing that you just did? Don't do that."
2. I have not had a chance to test it with a full refrigerator yet, however it does cool down much more rapidly that with the previous configuration so I am assuming a more efficient operation. More to the point is the elimination of the irritating noise of the fan. T
Does it still push hot air out of the compartment? We have found propping open the upper and lower doors often vents enough air to shut the fan off. The louver scheme does not allow much air movement.
We did put replace the factory fan with a quiet fan.
