2012 Flying Cloud AC Compressor not starting

Hello- I'm camping in the Florida Keys this weekend and my AC Compressor isn't starting. I am connected to the 30 amp power supply at Bahia Honda. The fan on the Dometic unit works fine. I reset the CCC2 using the factory manual with zero success. I even connected my twin Honda Generators with the hopes that there might be a low voltage issue. No luck. I still think it may be a low voltage issue since the Dometic refrigerator is set to auto and never switched to the 120V supply which it typically does when set to "auto"

Any thoughts and additional troubleshooting I might be able to perform?

Thanks for your help.

Check your start capacitor and PTCR (motor starter device). They are located under the shroud on the curb side of the A/C unit. Remove 2- 5/16" hex heads and pull the metal cover off to reveal your A/C relay/control board and the capacitors.

It is fairly common in FL to blow up the start caps in high temp/humidity situations.

is the outside temp reading on the thermostat correct? if not, you might have a moisture issue in the 'phone' jack connector located above the inside cover.

Yes, it was correct. It's still under warranty so I'm going to attempt to get it serviced without having to pull it 200 miles to the dealer.

Thanks for your help!

The end result was a bad compressor. Dometic replaced the entire unit. New one looks good and is a bit more aerodynamic. Hoping it lasts a long time!!
