2004 Classic Trim coming loose

Hi All,
Our 2004, 28' Classic's trim (Not sure if this is the right term.) is coming off. It's the trim line around the TT that covers the the screws for the skin. Sorry don't know how else to discribe it.

Just finished a few day trip yesterday to Silver Strand State Beach in So. Cal. (For you guys still with snow I understand how this must sound to you. But In San Diego it was 70 degrees w/lots of sun.) Checking the outside of the trailer, trying not to get sun burned, I noticed the trim was coming off by the door. I then saw it was also loose where the rear bumper meets the TT skin.

Question: Anyone out there experiencing this same thing? Suggestions what to use to re-attach it?

HI, sorry to hear about your trouble!

Question:
Is it the insert molding?
Is it in the middle of the trailer?
Is it at the bottom of the trailer?
What location on the trailer is the molding coming off, front/rear/side.

For best results, snap a picture and post it.

Trying to help,

Michael

I believe this is fastened with a self adhesive tape that is on the back side of the trim. If so, it is easily fixed by getting some new trim. You just have to make sure that you remove whatever adhesive may be left on your trailer from the old piece and then put on the new trim. It can easily be cut to whatever length you need.

Hi ArtStream,
The trim is on the bottom of the trailer, on both sides and the rear. It's located just above the service/storage compartments doors and the rear bumper.

Can't send an image, I've used up all of my image space,

Thanks, that looks like it ! Does it fit into a channel that runs around the TT?

Yes and it has the tape on the back so when you peal all you have to do is stick. It is an easy install.
