1980s Travel Trailer Owners' Manuals: https://store.airstream.com/product_...roducts_id=385

Service Manuals: https://store.airstream.com/product_...products_id=96

I haven't found that I look at the Owner's Manual very much at all. There aren't as many Service Manuals. You'll have to get the closest year, 1984, which is the same one I have. I refer to it all the time.

If you have to pick just one, get the Service Manual.

They may not be exactly the same but there's enough cross over that it will work for most things. It will certainly be better than none at all when you begin to dig into any of the systems.

Roger is correct. Any differences will be minor and you will be able to deal with them. For instance, somewhere between 1984 and 1987 Airstream switched from individual block capital letters in the logo to script. Not a big deal. Interestingly, the Excella letters changed from script to block letters.

There is an Owner's manual for 1987 available but. like I said, I rarely look at mine (it's a 1983 for me). I'm not even sure where it is. The main thing I remember from it is how good huge plaid pattern bell-bottoms really looked on men (not very).
