1986 A/C replacement

Helloooo fellow Airstreamers....

I've got a 1986 Excella that I recently purchased and I think the original Coleman is still installed. It works fine but since I live in Texas I'd like to replace it before it gets totally brutal here. I think it is a 13500 BTU unit and was wondering if anybody had replaced one with a 15K Btu unit. Any reccomendations would be appreciated. I wonder if my 30 amp trailer can handle the increase. Is there one manufacturer that is better than the othere?

Your unit should be able to handle the 15k unit. You could replace with another Coleman or switch to a Dometic Brisk Air unit. You would need a air conditioner conversion kit which allows you to convert from a Coleman to a Dometic Brisk Air. Basic wiring harness kit.
