ahhh, thanks for the comic relief... so those little no shouldered creatures made their way to the top of the end cap!! ahhh. no good.
Every home I've restored has been gutted, why I thought I could get away without it is beyond me. Oh yeah, because this time I'm footing the bill.
I'm well acquainted with the peace of mind that follows, but I'm going to need to sock some cash away before really going at it.
If I do this, I would really like to go back with the bare aluminum or stainless steel. The PO filled the walls with holes for all his "accessories".

Probably not the place to ask (maybe it's already been answered) but I was thinking of going back with spray on, expanding foam, insulation. Any nay-sayers? It would be a nightmare for any future changes, but if done right....?

Just figured I would ask while Andy is around. Sorry I never made it your direction with the AS. I'm still kicking myself.

I found more rot and mice nest under the heater next to the wall and by the water tank. AAhhh!! The simple green has left a smell that won't air out...
