1974 International Control Panel Wiring

Hello hoping someone can help me out here. My gray and black tanks do not show the level I think it is a wiring problem but not the sensor in the tanks. Can't seem to find out where the wires go from the gauges. I pulled out the old battery charge so must have disconnected something from there. I put a couple of six volts in that compartment for increased amp hours.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Placerville is inland enough that I do not suspect corrosion. I think that if you start "pulling" things you may have pulled something loose. The sensor wires for the tanks are something like 18-gauge as I recall. I would start at the end-point (tanks connections) and work my way though --- all the way back to the gauges. And don't forget a continuity tester.

Thanks I don't have a schematic and as you know finding the start connections can be tricky. When I pulled the old battery charger I did disconnect some things so I will start there. That is when they quit working.

One thing that would be helpful if any one as the time is take a picture of the wiring on the battery charger. Foolishly I disconnected everything not anticipating this issue. There is a block with for screws and I need to know where each one of those wires go, they are color coded.
