1973 25' Caravanner Floor Plan

I just purchased my first airstream. A 25' 1973 Caravanner. I would like to know if anyone has a floorplan of this model, so I can know what it looked like back in the day. It has been modified over the years and we are going to do a restoration. I have not had much luck finding info on a Caravanner for this year. First off the title says 1973, but the mfg. date on the front plate says 4/71. That confused me because I thought it was going to be a couple of years older until I got the title. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just trying to get some direction on where to start.

Congrats! Those are neat trailers. Caravanners weren't made in 1973 - they were made in 70-71, and then 76-78, IIRC.

Here is a link to the trailer matrix I suspect your Caravanner is actually a 1971 but titled a couple of years later. I have seen this happen on more than one occasion. The VIN on the trailer will ID it it exactly.

Mutch is also correct on the years they were made. I would love to have one from around 1976.

Interesting, the link that Wkerfoot posted,(#2), is to a '70 model, and it does not have the oblong vista view windows above the main ones. My own '71 Caravanner has those windows.
As to the OP, the pictures shown should give you a pretty good idea as to the interior layout,,,,compleatly open. I think that it's a great layout for "weekending", but the lack of "made-up" beds, within a seperate area, is a liability for longer term use.
