Well it sure has been a while since ive been posting on this site. Ive had plenty of distractions and a great summer. But now its time to get working on the GT again.

Here is the major distraction, doing valves and points on it right now.
Got it as a basket case.


On to the trailer.
Well i had my electrician friend help me rewire the trailer, this was a mistake.
He used solid instead of stranded, now i come back to the trailer 6 months later and i have no idea what is going on with it. Might redo all the 12v so at least ill know exactly whats going on with everything and have stranded wires.


We started on the insulation process. I hope we are doing it correctly. We are getting more proficient with every section but it is tedious.

One of about 5 patches, i enjoyed making them.

Clecos are amazing


Inner walls are in, I wish i never stripped the zolatone off the walls, wish i would have just painted them white.

Now i need to clean and put a bit of a polish to them. Lots and lots of work left but i'm excited to start building the interior.

Its regular white oak all cut and grooved to the same length, pain in the ass to install with the herringbone pattern.

Assuming you will be replacing the 45 year old black water tank. I just did mine. Available from Vintage Trailer Supply and Inland RV. VTS still has new Thetford dump valves, Send me a PM or post if you have any questions.

BTW I have a 200+ page 1975 SERVICE manual if you are interested.
