1970 Caravanner remodel interim
I can't remember how to post photos independently, so starting another thread.
The photos I'm posting were requested by another caravanner owner. But I thought I would explain some of the interior changes and gaudy photos. Our most recent change to the interior of the trailer is a really ugly temporary modification. The reason we cut off part of the bar was so that we could move the streetside gaucho.
My brother and his wife gave us this trailer five years ago and part of the reason was that their four person family could no longer sleep in it well. Now that my kids are the same age as theirs were at the time, I'm understanding the sleeping problem.
So again, back to the removal of the bar. With 12 inches off of the bar we were able to move the streetside gaucho down and now the front gaucho can open more fully into a full-size bed. Our next trip will be much more comfortable than the one three weeks ago.
We'll still need to move the refrigerator and put in the new cabinets to match the curbside renovation that we have already done but that will happen this fall or early next spring.
