Hi Jeremy
The spray foam wasn't very forgiving on mistakes lol. My husband said from his research Prodex and Reflectix are pretty much the same. We went with Reflectics because it was available locally. We are also adding bat insulation once the wiring is done.

My husband is about to lose some indoor space soon lol. Scraping windshields in the morning is getting old fast

Mild winter = progress

We have had yo-yo weather not great for winter sports but good for progress on the Airstream on mild days.

Wiring is done and tested. Front end is re skined. We have stripped the vinyl off the skins and we will be shining the interior and exterior skins .Now time to put up the other end cap.

It looking great! I'm at the same install point so your thread and others help spur me on! I love this part of the process when skins go back in. It's where everyone's personalities and creativity is expressed in there campers. None are the same and all are one of kind. Can't wait to see the next part. Awesome

Looking very good. Some of the newer models have aluminum interior skins. I like it.

I went over to your thread and started following along, you are doing great work. I guess we are in a race to finish by summer time.

Thank you. I would have finished last year but the Lord spoke a word to me about "enlarging my tent" - Isaiah 54:2. I was hoping that meant the argosy but after much prayer I started and finished a 600 sq ft buildout on my house. Since then we have had a constant flow of people staying in the new suite with a new bathroom but I do believe this is the year to complete the trailer. Love your thread and the progress.

Progress report

It has been a while since the last update. We are ready to start the plumbing and the bathroom. All interior skins are back on. They will need to be polished (check out the interior door skin photo, they shin up nice ). The end cap needs to be painted. All the wiring and insulation is done. We were extremely happy to find a local locksmith to key our Bargman lock. We have also ordered a new deadbolt from Airstream supply (not sure that I trust a 50 year old lock completely )

Shiny interior skins

Here is a quick update, my husband is doing the final pass on the interior skins. They have shined up real nice! It has been about 4 weeks (working nights and Saturdays) to get a nice shine. I will now start to help with the waxing.

The next few weeks should bring big changes. Fooring first then I will start painting the bulkhead while my husband starts the bathroom.

It is feeling like the never ending project. We had hoped to use it this summer . It is looking like it will be late summer and fall instead

Quick progress update: interior skins are stripped shined and polished. We added a coat of wax for extra protection. The floors are in now and I have started painting the bathroom. We are picking up our front end couch tomorrow. We got a great deal on it.

Making progress; good progress after those interior skins were completed. That's a big job. Maybe you'll get done this summer after all. I know I won't finish mine.

I love your floor! It looks just like mine. Did you glue it down. I let mine float. I'll staple it down in hidden areas. Looking great
