Try rotating the key all the way in the opposite direction then back to center.

If its the lock in the doorknob, and all else fails try this. Shoot in by the key with P B blaster or similar, let it soak a bit. Use a common vibrating sander, w/o paper, held against the edge of the knob. Gently shake and pull the key with the sander vibrating the lock works. Sometimes that will do it, may work on the dead bolt.
