1959? Tradewind needs new axle serial number

I just bought a completely original tradewind and the exterior is immaculate only needing polishing. I have now tried in vain to research it's serial number and can't definitively say it's a 59. Can u experts help? 243D386 is what it says and then the little tag below says T 0028505 I think. Very difficult to read too. Also I would like replace the axle how do I find the right one? How do I find the right fresh water tank for it? Is there a grey water or sewer tank for this camper? Lastly i need a new rear window- where can i buy an original or can i just have an auto glass people make me a piece? So many questions. Lots of work ahead can't wait.

Russ,
Your trailer is a 63 based on the serial number. 24 means 24' long, 3 means 63, D means it has a double bed & 386 is the sequential build number. Torsion axles were not installed on Airstream's until 61 so it wouldn't be a 59. Your trailer did not have a grey water tank, however you should have a black (sewer) tank. You can source gaskets for your windows from Vintage Trailer Supply dot com & you can have the glass cut at any Hardware Store.
