1953 Cruiser

hi i have a 1953 cruiser and it appears to have a waste storage tank in it i included pics and it has a hole in the side where i guess you add water to flush the tank...

also it has a airstream cruiser sticker on the side is this factory?

That's great. I wonder if its orig? It's a sticker , correct? Hard to imagine a sticker would last that long.

I'm not familiar with that year/ model, but it looks like the freshwater tank and inlet. In 53 I would guess the toilet would sit right on top of the blackwater tank.

My 53 Liner's toilet, shower and bath sink dumped directly to the ground. It was retrofitted with a tank in the late 60s. The water tank was at the front of the trailer with an inlet front curbside.

I recently saw a 53 Flying Cloud with a name sticker exactly the same stylistically as yours. My understanding is the stickers were not applied to all trailers...so yours is pretty cool...hopefully you can preserve it.

I suspect a 53 water tank would be metal not fiberglass...

it looks like the tank goes into the shower room and the toilit is a step up and it would be sitting directly on top of it... the tank looks to be fiberglass or something

it is a sticker on the trailer it it has been there for a while i guess because the shell is very shiney under it like new
