It's the booster assembly for the disc brake system, that may or may not still be on the trailer.

Parts are still available to repair that brake system.

If electric brakes were installed, you can remove the booster and sell it on ebay.

It's on a Safari that's on ebay I went to check out today. It needs a more than I can give.
