voyager brake controller

i just spoke with active brake and their electric/hydraulic brake system WILL NOT work with a voyager controller. the only controller approved with the elec/hydraulic system is the prodigy....so the dealer is changing it out.

It's for the best....even with non disc brakes, the Voyager gave me nothing but problems and did a poor job controlling the brakes....they'd lock, grab, etc. Prodigy is as smooth as silk (at least with my electric drums).

I don't think you'll be disappointed.

That is in direct conflict with thier own technical bulletin.
Whats up with that?

i don't know what's up...if you read the teconsah web site it says none of their controllers have been tested with elec/hyd system and you should contact the brake mfg directly...i did and they said they have tested extensively on the prodigy and loaded new software etc to make it work with elec/hyd....but NOT the voyager...only the prodigy. i spoke with Mike at active brake directly....go figure. van
