Tekonsha P3 problem

Hello, I need help! I just got out my airstream storage and before leaving I adjust my brake controller Tekonsa P3. The brakes work but not with the lever with the brake pedal. I have no corrosion and the equipment is new year's past. Also arriving aa home, I istallé both batteries. Loorsque I used the power jack to lift the Airstream, the braker skipped. I rebooted and it seems ok. Does cella may be related to the brake problem?

Have a machanic test the recepticle on the rear of the tow vechile. Most probably the controler is ok, but the tow vehicle has a problem with the brake pedal switch. Usually if the controller will brake with the switch used for adjustment, the brake switch on the tow vehicle is faulty. On GM trucks it should run about $200. to fix.

Bonjour (best I can do with my prairie learned French) Check the wire connection where your controller is connected to the brake switch wire under the dash at the top of the brake pedal. Some times somebody else's big foot may inadvertently hit the connection and disrupt the feed.

We have a different problem this year with the P3 and would appreciate any help. We store our trailer indoor and just took it out. The brakes are all of a sudden super sensitive, slams stops the trailer on slight brake pressure. I looked over the manual and try to re-caliber etc etc but no real solution. It worked great for the last 6 years. What went wrong-do I need a new P3.

The trailer is a 34 ft classic with disc brakes. No leaks, the disc's and the pads look fine.
Many thanks,

T
