Replacement Electric Brake Assemblies

Ken,

I'll hazard a guess and say that it takes 12x2 assemblies probably Dexters. A good source for the loaded backing plates is www.easternmarine.com. Reasonably priced.

I did all four on my '79. They were 12x2.0 Kellsys, and I replaced them with Dexters. Getting the 26-year-old nuts off the studs on the BACK of the brake was a stinker. (It's not the six-hour jobs that are bad, it's the four-hour jobs that end up taking ten.) The Dexters use nuts and bolts, which will be nice if I ever need to do this again.

I ordered them through my local NAPA store and liked the theory that if I even need to work on them on the road, there's a good chance a NAPA will be somewhere around.
