Reese brakeman "4a" on box ???

I have 20' 2005 AS trailer.

Use 5 year old Reese Brakeman controller. Never had a problem.

Cleaned 7 way plug connectors with electrical spray cleaner.

When apply brakes, while trying to see controller number to 2.5, I get a "4a" message on the controller box.

What does the "4a" mean? Sorry dont have manual anymore.

Could this be caused by me cleaning, spraying, the 7 wire connector?

Anyone had this "4a" before?

Thanks in advance for replies.
