For obtaining a Dutch license on my AS I need to have a mecanical working parking brake.
I'm thinking on a leafer that push the arm where the magnet is on.
It must be a cable oparated system.
Any other ( SIMPEL ) idea's??

Contact the Airstream factory.
They will be able to tell you what they do to the export trailers.
Thanks for the reply's
@ $ 189.82 it's a bit pricy.
I can't see the handbrake parts on the pic.
Becouse I need it for licensing only and will most likely never use it again I want to try to make the alteration to the existing brake plates myself.

The street price may be a lot less than the manufacturer list price.
You can't see the parts because they aren't visible in the picture. The primary brake shoe is actuated by a pivot rod and cam that goes through a bushing; there is a lever in the back that connects to a cable.
If you want to drill a hole in the backing plate and run a cable direct to the actuating arm you should try it and see what works. Please post pictures, a parking brake would be a neat feature to have.
You can see the difference between the assemblies in these pictures. The first is without parking brake. In the second picture you can see the cam at the top of the assembly.
