Never R Lube, Brakes & Inspections

Hi All,

I am in much need to find a Authorized Dealer or a qualified recommendation for someone to Inspect and/or repair (if necessary) any issues on my 2013 Classic 30' Airstream brakes. I live in Lakeland, FL (Central Florida).

I am not having any issues but I am years overdue for a inspection. I am close to Airstream of Tampa, but I have been refused service there several times. I suspect because I did not by from them. All others trailer shops, I know, say they do not work on Airstreams.

I did find one Airstream Dealer who would work on it but said if nothing is wrong don't worry about it until you have some issues. I would rather try to avoid any problems if possible.

Any recommendations or help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for any help.

The procedure is straightforward:

It’s basically jacking up the trailer, rotating the wheel, checking for play, making sure the wheel spins freely without bumps and noises.

My apologies, I see you are concerned about brakes, not bearings.

Thanks Ted S., Very helpful information. I would like to have it all inspected while someone is in there. I am just not able to do this myself because of medical reasons. I will just keep looking or someone may be able to help with your information.

Thanks again.

FYI, just found an Authorized Dealer in Orlando, FL. for Dexter. It's Davids Trailer, 407-293-2922.

Hope this helps anyone else that is looking in this area.

At around 100K miles on my 2013 classic, new bearings were installed.

Glad to know that I am not alone. I am at about 115,000 miles. I have not had any issues up to now or had any work done. I just need to know from a professional where I stand and what to look for in the future. Hopefully, David's Trailer in Orlando, FL will be a go to place to address any issue concerning my Running Gear.

Has anyone gone to David's Trailer before? If so, what was your experience.
