Need help removing rear drum
Can anyone please tell me how to remove the rear drum or do you just pull it off using a little muscle and a rubber mallet. Reason being, while looking under my 2011 international, I found a broken spring hanging from the rear drum. Thank you in advance for your input and knowledge.

It should just come off easily by hand - but I'm assuming have you already tried that?
Sometimes you have to wind the adjuster back in to get the shoes away from the drum, but that is usually only if the drums has seen a lot of wear which should not be so in your case.
I have sometimes resorted (not on our AS) to using a two finger gear puller to get the drum off if really tight.
I am wondering since you found a detached spring if something could have come adrift and is jamming things,
If your trailer is still under warrantee and is mobile why not just take it back? Too far to the dealer?

Brian thank you for responding so fast.Was getting ready to leave wednesdayfor a trip south and was just doing a final check under the belly when I noticed this problem.Dealer is approximately 2hrs away and Was afraid could possibly do more damage.Was hoping to pull the drum and drive to dealer for replacement parts,but still no luck.

Remove the dust cover on the hub, remove the carter pin from the nut on the spindle, remove the nut on the spindle and pull the drum off.
The outer bearing will be free so be careful that it does not fall out.

I think you are jammed as your picture shows. Shoe, spring and drum all trying to be in the same spot, jammed.
Backing off as much as possible on the self adjuster may take the pressure off of the drum. If you are not familiar with backing off, I bet there is something on YouTube somewhere, of find any old automotive service manual that addresses drum brakes.
Also, I'm officially giving you 5 Airstream points for the under body pretrip inspection. Nicely done.

Thank you all for your valuable input. Hopefully tomorrow I will remove the drum and see what the cause of the problem is. I will also be in touch with my airstream dealer.Even though this should not have happened it's nice to have a great support system with in all of you.Again THANK YOU!

I was assuming he had done that and it still wouldn't come off! Guess I shouldn't assume!

It certainly looks that way, Almost looks like stuff is jammed between shoe and drum. I would probably try to improvise some sort of puller to get the drum free.
