Intermittent brake loss problem solved

On my last couple of trips, My Prodigy brake controller would display no connection, especially when on rough road. I suspected a ground problem or a loose connection in the wiring and was prepared a lengthy search. I could not believe what it turned out to be. Some how , the connection from the controller (a harness from Prodigy) into my factory harness (Dodge 2500) had come loose. I couldn't believe as it has been in the truck for four years with no problem and I don't see how this thing could come apart . Thirty seconds of time to snap it back together and the problem is fixed.

So, how long did it take you to figure it out? I hate it when that happens.

About 15 minutes. Figured I would look for loose connection at the brakes, then checked the umbilical and cleaned the connections, then I looked at the controller connections and gave them the old shake test. It just fell apart.
