Hayes Syncronizer brake controller

Does anyone have any experience with a Hayes Syncronizer brake controller?
We purchased a tow vehicle last night and has this brake controller installed. I currently have a Tekonsha Prodigy. Would it be worthwhile to swap them out?

I prefer Hayes controllers, but the Syncronizer is a ramp-based (time-based) controller and doesn't provide the best of performance (IMHO). I have utilized the Hayes Energize XPC (pendulum-type) for a number of year and have been absolutely thrilled with its performance. The Energize XPC has the option of a remote emergency control that means it isn't necessary to be able to reach the controller box when behind the wheel as the remote can be kept in a place the is much more convenient for emergency use. You can find the Hayes XPC at this link.
