Experienced Brakesmart Users Out There?

I have been using a Brakesmart for a couple of months now, and I am beyond pleased. However, something bothersome has started happening, and I am hoping it is simply a setting versus something wrong with the unit itself. Every 60 seconds, a very short yet powerful pulse is sent to the trailer brakes. It is very noticeable. I am hoping that my button-happy son did something on the menu. Anyone have any ideas?

Much appreciated!

It does send a pulse at 60 second intervals to confirm the integrity of the wiring. It is supposed to be short enough that the brakes don't actually apply, and I've only heard of it being a problem with disc brake actuators.

A Good Start

It makes me feel better that it is supposed to do that. I figured it must be intentional to happen in a perfect 60 second cycle like that. So thanks!

That makes me wonder if the initial P.S.I. setting got bumped up by button boy. That is one setting I didn't look at.

If anyone else has any thoughts, they would be much appreciated.
