Hi all, Thanks for all the input. Yes the drums were cut when I put on new brakes asembly. Hard put the plates on backwards they have studs and fit only one way. I know that there is right side brakes and left side brakes. I sure it is right but will have to wait until I move to Tucson Az. That is where I left the trailer.

beveling the leading edges of the brake shoes will help any brake drum from grabbing.

this is a prerequisite for my harleys drum brakes.

just remember to wear a resporator, with possibly imported brake shoes it is hard to tell anymore if they contain asbestos.

err on the side of caution!

Hey John,
A beer for us poor folks is O.K. Fottball team if they are the Patriots to much trouble. Nuclear weapons will get W after you. Do not need the trouble. Just trying to get along. A glass of good brandy or wine is also fine.
Thanks for the tip. Will try out when me and my AS are reunited in Tucson AZ>
Regards Russell
