Electric Brakes

Do I need to hook up electric brakes to my 16' Bambi? If so any suggestions where to have that done in Arizona? What about sway bars and lifters?

Brakes are a good thing. They may not be immediately necesary if your tow vehicle is big enough. Take it to the Airstream dealer in Tucson Oasis if they are nearby. Otherwise any trailer place can hook you up and sell you a controller. Same thing with weight distribution. If you have a truck they may not be necessary, but if you are towing with a small SUV or car they would be recommended.

By law you would not be required to. Your Bambi is under the 3000 lb limit most states (Arizona included) have set. But why not? If all you need to do is add a brake controller to your Yukon, I would do it. You could get a controller like the Prodigy with the proper cable and just mount it and plug it in. If you do it yourself the cost would be around $150.

I disconnect the brakes on my 1961 Bambi when I tow with my SUV Merecedes and then I commect my brakes when I tow with my 1965 Mustang. Nothing but the ball hitch.

Your MB has more mass than the Mustang, so it would have an easier time stopping the little trailer than would your pony car.
Even though you didn't ask, a friction-type sway control bar is much less than $100, and would help keep things straight while towing.
