Their customer support team is awesome and knew exactly what parts I needed. Hopefully you have made the needed repairs and are back on the road.

After reading this...I have 5 years and 40,000 miles on our classic...I pulls a wheel...low and behold. My shoes are very thin....ordered on line , new self-brakes....all 4 complete with backing plates..will arrive in 3 days...drums are good....never-lube bearings are good...all done with a battery powered impact...15 minutes ..1 side is stripped....

Dexter Brake Drums Needed STRANDED

The self adjusting brakes and sealed bearings may be proprietary, but most parts should be readily available through any auto parts store or a truck and trailer vendor. At least that’s been my experience.

Hi

One subtle issue that gets into this is the "warranty" part of it. If I go down and pay $54 at the parts store, I can get the part today. If I want a warranty replacement for free (and them to cover the labor as well) it has to go through the factory.
